West Nusa Tenggara is a province consisting of several islands. Produce various kinds of weave whose skills have been passed down from generation to generation from their ancestors. One of the woven products is a sarong. It is made of black cotton yarn with a rectangular shape. The ornaments are made with ‘ikat’ (weaving) techniques that form traditional motifs through certain paths. On the surface of the cloth, there are flora and fauna motifs contained in geometric motifs, both large and small. It is used as a complete outfit during traditional ceremonies in the province of West Nusa Tenggara.

This collection is one of the donation collections made and obtained in the province of West Nusa Tenggara on February 28, 1983 and is in good condition.
